Between August 12th and 14th, 2021, Kidoz Times Newspaper organized and hosted its biggest Model United Nations Conference yet. Hosting more than 60 participants between the ages of 13 and 19 from both private and public schools across the country.

The conference included 4 committees; 2 Arabic committees and 2 English committees. The Arabic committees included the Security Council presided over by Khalid Duwaikat and the Humans rights council presided over by Ruba Al Dajani. The English COmmittees included the Security Council presided over by Elena Manneh and the United Nations office on drugs and crime presided over by Crispina Hokayem.

The three-day conference was a means for delegates, chairs, and presidents to discuss pressing global issues. For example, the delegates discussed and debated the issue of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam in both the Arabic and English UN Security Council committees. In addition to discussing child marriage in the Arabic Humans Rights Council. The issue of migrant smuggling was discussed in the office on drugs and crime.

The team, chairs and, delegates all worked hard towards making this conference the successful one it was. The three-day conference was filled with fruitful debate and creative and innovative solutions to the issues we face in global politics today. All participants left the conference with new information and a better perception of the world around them.
