• Ali is a Jordanian French boy, who lives in Jordan with his mother and 2 loving sisters. He is on the spectrum of autism or should I say of awesomeness
• He started loosing his speech towards 2 years and a half to eventually become non-verbal at 3 years old.

We tried so many therapies with him, but he’s learning is quite slow and I am concentrating mainly now on speech therapy.

• When he was in KG2 in Amman National School at the age of 5 years he started showing genuine interest in art and would paint by mixing colors. His teachers said he should be a contemporary artist.
• Now Ali is 7 years old, and he goes to Rawdat Al Maaref School (RAMS) where he is followed up by a speech therapist under their special needs support program. He loves school and enjoys going there.
• As his mother, I tend to buy him canvases and watercolors bottles (so I can clean up the mess afterward)  and I see how Ali reaches serenity while painting. He decides how to mix colors and he chooses his brushes carefully, at times he does fine strokes while other times dots, while at times he does very big thick strokes.
• His paintings represent him and his colorful soul, that is why I created a logo for him “Ali Atieh Colorful SOUL”.
• I believe that although he has difficulties expressing himself with words, he expresses his beauty through painting. I will always be the biggest fan and supporter of my son Ali.
