What is sKattered?

sKattered is an art gallery, expressing the lives of those who society believes have a scattered soul and life, although they hold the greatest power in their hands, to help them with their struggles, through art and poetry. I have been given the opportunity to hold this gallery due to an IB personal project, to create and host shows to make the world a safer place for everyone that is considered lower than what society considers as “Normal” due to their mental health status, gender, and/or age. 

Mental illnesses are considered a taboo in our world, so I have chosen my personal project to raise awareness about mental disorders that are considerably common, yet no one talks about them. You might ask yourself why a 15-year-old girl chose to have her art exhibit about those issues, this is because I have seen enough people struggling with their mental health and the pressure of society at the same time. 

Humans are always expected to be the best in what they do, and enjoy life as they dream life should be.
