Kidoz Times implemented the “ARDD WA SHABAB” initiative as part of the “New Generation” program by the Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD), aiming to strengthen environmental awareness among young people and encourage their involvement in developing sustainable solutions.

The initiative engaged 60 young men and women aged 18–30 across four Jordanian governorates: Amman, Irbid, Jerash, and Ajloun. The workshops were designed as interactive learning experiences, combining practical activities, educational games, and group discussions rather than relying on traditional lectures.

Led by environmental experts, including Eng. Mazen Abu Qamar in Amman, the sessions introduced participants to key environmental concepts and challenges, including climate change, natural resource conservation, and local and global environmental issues.

The initiative also included pre- and post-training assessments to measure participants’ learning and progress, while creating space for discussion and knowledge exchange. Participants received certificates upon completion, reinforcing the initiative’s goal of empowering youth to raise environmental awareness and contribute to positive change in their communities.
